Partners,

It has been a while since our last newsletter. We would like to take this time to let you know how much we appreciate your business. We would not have a business without you.To become successful at anything you do It is always a good idea to see how others are doing to keep score and realize what is possible. Matchbin has grown to around 300 media companies and each of you share in our 43 million page views per month. You should have had the opportunity to be trained on the directory and possibly had the opportunity to have a Matchbin District manager visit for a Blitz week. If not please contact your account manager or District manager, you definitely don't want to miss out on the opportunity. Our purpose for generating this newsletter is to allow you to understand what others are doing to generate substantial revenue from their directories and to help you to achieve the same results.

Simple Competition Leads to Success-

Pioneer Cup- John Nelson at Pioneer Newspapers implemented a competition a couple of weeks ago that helped his team achieve huge revenue numbers in August. John calls it the "Pioneer Cup" based after the ideas of the world cup competition. He actually bought a trophy for the winner and the winner of the competition was able to take it home. The competition was based on competing against average accounts sold per rep and direct head to head competition on the paper and even the rep to rep level. John had half of the papers that hit their stretch goals and had 2 reps hit 8 accounts on the week. Josh and Andrea from competing papers both sold 8 and were in the spotlight they both earned some great incentives. John carefully designed the compensation and winnings in a way to motivate the most amount of people as possible. He predicted that they would hit 93 k in revenue. They sold over 100 listings and made 88 k dollars in 5 days. How do you influence your team? You figure out what they want, and show them how you can help them get it, and that is exactly what John and his teams did. We started working with their teams in February and to this point John and Pioneer are our largest producer. Pioneer is not the largest partner in size the key to their success is they decided they wanted it and they effectively communicated this through their organization. John really is a great leader and has played a big role in the success. Currently they have made over 350k in revenue and are figuring out how they can produce more. Congratulations to Pioneer for a great idea to enhance sales of their directories.

If you are interested in some type of competition please contact your Account manager or District manager for details.

Power of Focus and Hard Work

Fetchtoto- sold around 50 accounts before we even showed up to do a blitz week. Fetchtoto sold 52 accounts in 4 days and made around 63 k in revenue. They do a great job at creating their listings and have been very creative with the look and feel of their directory. Within about 6 weeks from launch Fetchtoto sold over 100k in directory listings and is currently pushing the 200 mark. Fetchtoto is our top producer from one partner and has continued to innovate ways to produce through the Matchbin technology. Fetchtoto does a tremendous job of promoting their directory and have now seen self service listing upgrades being purchased. When we visited their site Brian and Tim mentioned that they thought that Fetchtoto would eventually become one of their bigger projects. You can check out their directory at www.fetchtoto.com

If its Not Working Change your Approach

The Brentwood Press- Greg Robinson at the Brentwood Press or www.thepress.net has been working with his site for some time. They did their initial blitz around February. They sold around 12 listings and had very little success after. Greg also publishes a yellow page product and has been very successful with this in the past. Knowing of the opportunity of selling directories Greg decided to invest in his directory a little bit more. Grabbing market share quickly is very important, especially with the competition entering the market of online directories. So Greg hired two dedicated online sales reps specifically for the directory. He guaranteed them a small base salary for the first couple of months and gave them the opportunity to sell to new customers within his market that weren't necessarily advertising in his newspaper. Troy and Loyd received training for a couple of days and ever since have been consistently selling between 1 to 2 Gold and mainly Platinum listings a day. To date Troy and Loyd

have sold more Platinum Microsites than anyone else. Troy and Loyd have currently sold between 40 to 50 accounts and have generated about 40 to 50k in revenue for the Brentwood Press in around a months time. Congratulations to Troy, Loyd and the Brentwood Press for their successes.

Once again thanks for your hard work we look forward to helping you achieve your online revenue goals.
