Reed Brown, President/CEO
As CEO and President of Matchbin, Reed Brown has served as President since November 2004. Reed brings over 25 years of experience leading Engineering and Operations' teams with industry leading technology companies. Prior to joining Matchbin, he was the Vice President of Research and Development at Iomega for 7 years. He spent 15 years at Hewlett Packard in various leadership positions and was the Director of Manufacturing at Quantum Corporation. Reed has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University and a Master's in Business Administration.
Miles Romney, CTO
At the age of 17 Miles Romney had already been labelled a "multimedia genius" in the press. Now, over the course of his fifteen year career, Miles has co-invented DigiClay Animation, Cryptocast streaming encryption, and ActiveMatch inventory matching, has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, C-Net, and Fox National News. He has twice received a United States Army commendation for outstanding research, as well as a variety of graphic design and multimedia awards, including Alphabytes' Web Developers Top 10%, and Apple Computer's QuickTime Hotpicks. Miles has founded two companies, DreamSeeker Studios and SigningStation, in addition to co-founding Matchbin. He heads all development at Matchbin and participates in other aspects of Matchbin through his role on the board.
Brent Christensen, EVP of Finance
As the Executive Vice President of Finance, Brent Christensen brings over 25 years of professional business management to Matchbin. He was with Christensen's Department Store chain for 17 years in various upper management positions, including CFO and CEO before selling his interests. He has since held various leadership positions with several other companies and ventures including Pro Image and Ionyx International. He attended both Brigham Young University and University of Utah where he holds a Bachelor's degree.
Ron Stagg, VP of Technology
As VP of Development, Ron Stagg brings 15 years of development and management to Matchbin. As a software engineer, he spent 7 years in the video game industry where he developed major hits such as Doom, Turok, NBA Jam, PGA Championship Golf and Tiger Woods PGA Tour. Additionally, he has spent many years developing cutting edge technology for DVD players, distributed internet products, voice telephony, 3D audio applications and remote sensing devices. He has found success in many different positions such as system analyst, product designer, senior software engineer, project manager and chief information officer. He holds a master's degree in Computer Information Systems and a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Jeff Allen, EVP of Operations
Jeff Allen has been executive vice president of operations at Matchbin since Oct. 2008. Prior to joining Matchbin in May 2008 Allen held leadership positions at Seagate Technology and Hewlett Packard Co. While vice president at Seagate, Allen led development and manufacturing operations in Oklahoma and Asia. He led the automation of all of Seagate’s disk drive production facilities. He also led a corporate initiative, rolling out Six Sigma throughout the company. At HP Allen held research and development leadership positions in the disk drive and tape drive operations. Allen earned a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, after completing his undergraduate work at Brigham Young University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Julian Castelli – Chairman of the Board
Julian is a veteran online media executive with more than 15 years of senior-level operating experience and a world-class institutional background. He is currently the CEO of VacationRoost Inc, a leading online marketplace for vacation rental properties. Before founding VacationRoost, Julian served as Chief Financial Officer of Primedia, a $300 million internet media company that owns and operates leading brands: Apartment Guide/Apartmentguide.com, New Home Guide/Newhomeguide.com, Auto Guide/Autoguide.com, and Rentals.com. While at Primedia, Julian also served as President of the Autoguide.com business, and was responsible for the launch and development of Rentals.com. Julian previously served as CFO of PageNet, a $1 billion public telecom company. He also was a founder and managing director of Cabrillo Advisors, a boutique financial advisory firm. Julian began his career as an investment banker with Goldman, Sachs and Co. in 1990, later serving as a strategy consultant with McKinsey and Company. He has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Amherst College.

Reed is the President & CEO of Matchbin and has led the Company’s growth and business direction November 2004. Reed is also a Director of the Company. Wayne Cantwell- Director
Wayne is a General Partner of Crescendo Ventures, a Palo Alto based venture capital firm that focuses on early-stage investments in the technology, digital media and technology-enabled service markets. Wayne joined Crescendo in early 2003 after spending nearly 20 years in the semiconductor and software industries. Immediately prior to Crescendo, Wayne served as President and CEO of inSilicon Corporation where he led the company through an IPO and several successful acquisitions. Before assuming the role of CEO at inSilicon, Wayne was responsible for overseeing Phoenix Technologies' worldwide field operations where he grew the organization to over 400 people and $125 million in globally distributed business. Wayne has extensive international experience, having run operations in Japan, Taiwan, and Europe, but has spent most of the last nine years based in the Bay Area. Prior to his role with Phoenix Technologies, Wayne held various sales and engineering positions with Intel Corporation and NEC Corporation.
Michael Levinthal - Director
Mike has over 26 years of venture capital investing experience and currently lives in Park City, Utah where he works as an independent venture capitalist helping to advise companies in the intermountain area. Mike spent 20 years with the Mayfield Fund. During his tenure at Mayfield, Mike worked to sponsor such successes as Citrix, Concur Technologies, Heartstream, Pure Software and WebMethods. Additionally, he founded Mayfield Software Partners, a side fund consisting of 20 leading software entrepreneurs as investors. He began his career in venture capital at New Enterprise Associates (NEA). While at NEA, Mike founded ONSET Ventures, a venture firm specializing in incubating new companies. Mike currently serves on the board of directors for Applabs, Alliance Health Networks, High West Distillery, Infopia, 3point5 and Zinch. He also served as a director on the board of Altiris (ATRS) until its recent acquisition to Symantec for $1billion. Mike holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He received both his MS and BS degrees in Engineering from Stanford University.
Hal Widlansky – Director
Hal Widlansky is a serial entrepreneur and an active member of the Utah investment community. He is currently CEO of Mangia Technologies, a mobile transaction platform company, as well as managing director of Olympus Angel Investors. He also serves as a member of the Utah Centers of Excellence Advisory Council at the Governor’s Office of Economic Development and frequently advises companies, institutional investors, and entrepreneurs on business strategy. He was formerly the CEO of SonoMetric Health, a medical imaging software company, global director of SonoSite Ultrasound’s cardiology division, and director of local market partnerships at Citysearch, the leading online city guide network. Hal completed a Master of Arts program in telecommunications technology at Michigan State University and attended the university’s College of Osteopathic Medicine. He also holds a B.A. in telecommunications from MSU.
