Reed Brown, President/CEO
As CEO and President of Matchbin, Reed Brown has served as President since November 2004. Reed brings over 25 years of experience leading Engineering and Operations' teams with industry leading technology companies. Prior to joining Matchbin, he was the Vice President of Research and Development at Iomega for 7 years. He spent 15 years at Hewlett Packard in various leadership positions and was the Director of Manufacturing at Quantum Corporation. Reed has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University and a Master's in Business Administration.
Mike Montrose, SVP Sales
Mike is responsible for global account management and partner monetization sales for Matchbin. For more than 20 years Mike has played significant roles in building and growing interactive media and technology companies. Mike was Vice President of Business Development for Omniture, the leader in strategic web analytics for large, enterprise web sites, which was purchased in 2009 by Adobe Systems for $1.8 billion. Mike managed a large sales team in one of the first four markets for CitySearch, now an operating business of InterActiveCorp. He collaborated with partners such as the Los Angeles Times and the Toronto Star, sharing best sales practices with their teams. He helped guide the CitySearch sales organization through transitional business models and a major NASDAQ public offering as it became an early leader in the race to develop local online content portals.

Mike was part of the founding team at Freeport, a pioneer of point-of-sale e-mail registration technology that used a sophisticated interactive media network and continuous retention marketing to help locally-focused retail businesses such as AT&T drive revenue and deepen their relationship with customers. He has provided executive leadership for network security companies Cerberian and Cymphonix, and sales leadership for Firetide, a Menlo Ventures company, the worldwide leader in wireless mesh network infrastructure. Mike initiated and managed key relationships with global partners such as IBM. Mike started his career as an editor for a daily newspaper in Salt Lake City, Utah. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from Brigham Young University, where he was also Editor-In-Chief of the daily newspaper.
Miles Romney, CTO
Miles Romney is a founder and is Chief Technology Officer. Over the course of his fifteen year career, Miles Romney has co-invented DigiClay Animation, Cryptocast streaming encryption, and ActiveMatch inventory matching, and has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, C-Net, and Fox National News. He has twice received a United States Army commendation for outstanding research, as well as a variety of graphic design and multimedia awards, including Alphabytes' Web Developers Top 10%, and Apple Computer's QuickTime Hotpicks. Additionally, he led the team that built secure-document workflow tools that landed ARCANVS, Inc. in the Gartner Group’s Top 10 Most Visionary Companies in Information Security. He has published with the prestigious IEEE and with ICSTC, and is a guest lecturer on database architecture for graduate-level Information Technology university courses. He has been invited to present at a variety of technology conferences, including as chair of the "Authoring Technology" board of IEEE’s ITHET conference, and as a panellist on the future of web 3D technologies at SIGGRAPH. Miles wields over thirteen years experience specifically in web application architecture, the last 4 of which have been focused on the emerging Ruby on Rails application framework employed by Matchbin. As CTO of Matchbin he architected and led the team that built the Matchbin publication product line-up, one of the largest Ruby on Rails applications on the web, having scaled from zero to tens of millions of monthly impressions.
Troy Giles, VP of Finance
Troy Giles has been the VP of Finance with Matchbin since October 2009. Troy brings over 15 years of finance and management experience to Matchbin. Prior to joining Matchbin, Troy held various senior finance positions at Boart Longyear and Tektronix including working with R&D, Sales, Manufacturing, Investor Relations, Purchasing, International Regions, and directing finance for large Global Divisions of the companies. Troy has a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Brigham Young University and an Accounting Certificate from Linfield College.
Brent Christensen, Director of Partner Payments
Mr. Christensen is a co-founder of Matchbin and brings over 30 years of business management experience to the Company. For seven years he was the interim VP of finance and served four years on the Board of Directors. He is currently Director of Partner Payments and is focused on cash flow management. Prior to Matchbin, Mr. Christensen utilized his expertise in finance and operations with an international franchisor. He was also in management of a regional retail chain for seventeen years. He is a graduate of the University of Utah.
Ron Stagg, VP of Technology
As VP of Development, Ron Stagg brings 15 years of development and management to Matchbin. As a software engineer, he spent 7 years in the video game industry where he developed major hits such as Doom, Turok, NBA Jam, PGA Championship Golf and Tiger Woods PGA Tour. Additionally, he has spent many years developing cutting edge technology for DVD players, distributed internet products, voice telephony, 3D audio applications and remote sensing devices. He has found success in many different positions such as system analyst, product designer, senior software engineer, project manager and chief information officer. He holds a master's degree in Computer Information Systems and a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Jeff Allen, EVP of Operations
Jeff Allen has been executive vice president of operations at Matchbin since Oct. 2008. Prior to joining Matchbin in May 2008 Allen held leadership positions at Seagate Technology and Hewlett Packard Co. While vice president at Seagate, Allen led development and manufacturing operations in Oklahoma and Asia. He led the automation of all of Seagate’s disk drive production facilities. He also led a corporate initiative, rolling out Six Sigma throughout the company. At HP Allen held research and development leadership positions in the disk drive and tape drive operations. Allen earned a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, after completing his undergraduate work at Brigham Young University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Dennis Mulcahy, VP of National Sales & Advertising
Joining the Matchbin team in September 2009, Dennis brings more than 15 years of executive sales management and business development experience with high growth start-ups and traditional media companies. He brings in depth knowledge in media advertising and strategy for Fortune 500 companies. His career includes experience with Genesis Broadcasting, CBS/Viacom, Digital City, America Online/Time Warner, Clear Channel Communications and Spot Runner. Dennis graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a BS in Strategic Management and Communications and currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Utah Diocesan School District.
Todd Speelman , Regional Director of Sales - Northeast Region
Todd joined the Matchbin team in January 2010 as Regional Director, Northeast Region. His experience includes over 10 years in Traditional Media with Clear Channel Communications. In 2008, he co-founded Experiential advertising agency 2xMedia, where he operated the east coast operations. Todd joined the AT&T Interactive Solutions team in 2009, helping YellowPages.com develop and build their online business directories. His educational background is in Strategic Marketing and Advertising.
Paul Russell , Regional Director of Sales - West Region
Paul joined Matchbin in September 2010 as Regional Director overseeing the Western US. Prior to Matchbin, Paul successfully launched and grew the Northern California office and region for ReachLocal. With over 10 years of sales leadership in traditional and digital media Industries, Paul brings vast experience to the Matchbin sales channels. With his in depth understanding of SEM, SEO, Display and other forms of digital marketing, Paul instantly becomes a valued asset to Matchbin partners to strategically and effectively monetize their interactive properties. Paul is also an avid boater with his wife and three young children and current holds the office of Rear Commodore of the Capital City Yacht Club.
Jason Luebke , Regional Director of Sales - Midwest & Southeast Regions
Jason joined the Matcbin team in May 2010 as Regional Sales Director overseeing the Midwest and Southeast Regions. His experience includes over 20 years in traditional media with Gannett, Pulitzer, and Publication Services of America. Jason has been active with many of the traditional media industry associations such as NAA, Inland Press Association, and many state press associations. Jason graduated from Northern Illinois University with a BS in marketing with special emphasis in sales management.

Julian Castelli – Chairman of the Board
Julian is a veteran online media executive with more than 15 years of senior-level operating experience and a world-class institutional background. He is currently the CEO of VacationRoost Inc, a leading online marketplace for vacation rental properties. Before founding VacationRoost, Julian served as Chief Financial Officer of Primedia, a $300 million internet media company that owns and operates leading brands: Apartment Guide/Apartmentguide.com, New Home Guide/Newhomeguide.com, Auto Guide/Autoguide.com, and Rentals.com. While at Primedia, Julian also served as President of the Autoguide.com business, and was responsible for the launch and development of Rentals.com. Julian previously served as CFO of PageNet, a $1 billion public telecom company. He also was a founder and managing director of Cabrillo Advisors, a boutique financial advisory firm. Julian began his career as an investment banker with Goldman, Sachs and Co. in 1990, later serving as a strategy consultant with McKinsey and Company. He has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Amherst College.

Wayne Cantwell- Director
Wayne is a General Partner of Crescendo Ventures, a Palo Alto based venture capital firm that focuses on early-stage investments in the technology, digital media and technology-enabled service markets. Wayne joined Crescendo in early 2003 after spending nearly 20 years in the semiconductor and software industries. Immediately prior to Crescendo, Wayne served as President and CEO of inSilicon Corporation where he led the company through an IPO and several successful acquisitions. Before assuming the role of CEO at inSilicon, Wayne was responsible for overseeing Phoenix Technologies' worldwide field operations where he grew the organization to over 400 people and $125 million in globally distributed business. Wayne has extensive international experience, having run operations in Japan, Taiwan, and Europe, but has spent most of the last nine years based in the Bay Area. Prior to his role with Phoenix Technologies, Wayne held various sales and engineering positions with Intel Corporation and NEC Corporation.
Michael Levinthal - Director
Mike has over 26 years of venture capital investing experience and currently lives in Park City, Utah where he works as an independent venture capitalist helping to advise companies in the intermountain area. Mike spent 20 years with the Mayfield Fund. During his tenure at Mayfield, Mike worked to sponsor such successes as Citrix, Concur Technologies, Heartstream, Pure Software and WebMethods. Additionally, he founded Mayfield Software Partners, a side fund consisting of 20 leading software entrepreneurs as investors. He began his career in venture capital at New Enterprise Associates (NEA). While at NEA, Mike founded ONSET Ventures, a venture firm specializing in incubating new companies. Mike currently serves on the board of directors for Applabs, Alliance Health Networks, High West Distillery, Infopia, 3point5 and Zinch. He also served as a director on the board of Altiris (ATRS) until its recent acquisition to Symantec for $1billion. Mike holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He received both his MS and BS degrees in Engineering from Stanford University.
